Is having my driveway replaced going to be a big inconvenience?

Updated: Mar 8, 2019

To answer this question in short, No, it doesn't have to be a major inconvenience to have your existing concrete driveway replaced. When a customer does their homework to research concrete contractors and selects one that is properly setup with the right tools, machinery and most importantly skill and experience then the process to have your driveway replaced is very straight forward.

In our experience and In most cases a concrete driveway can be fully removed in about 2-3 hours with the right machines and dump trucks on hand. After that, the driveway is excavated and the gravel is installed and compacted. Once proper compaction is had, rebar is then installed in a grid pattern. Pending how long those procedures have taken and pending weather that day, the concrete is usually ready to be installed that afternoon. If the driveway isnt poured that day, its certainly ready for the following morning. The pouring and finishing process can take anywhere 1-4 hours depending on the size and style of finish youve selected. The next day, the forms come off and the site is cleaned up and you are left with your finished concrete driveway.
